Our team – the people behind OffshoreAccounting.com.

We're a distributed team spanning the US, India, and the Philippines. The US team handles client relationships, compliance, and partner-level work; the offshore team handles production delivery. This page covers what the team looks like at the structural level rather than naming specific individuals – both for privacy reasons and because our team changes as we scale.

How our team is structured

US-based leadership and client team

Our US team handles client-facing work: discovery conversations, engagement scoping, account management, compliance documentation, and partner-level review. Based across multiple US metros, the US team brings US accounting and tax experience directly to every client relationship.

  • Managing partner. Ownership of firm strategy, senior client relationships, overall quality.
  • Account managers / engagement leads. Each managing 8–15 client engagements. Primary client contact, scope owners, quality escalation.
  • Compliance and operations. Compliance documentation, security, vendor management, contract administration.
  • Business development. Discovery calls, scope estimation, proposal preparation.

Offshore delivery team

Our offshore team is based primarily in India (Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune) and the Philippines (Manila, Cebu). Delivery centers staffed with:

  • Offshore team leads. Senior accountants (8–15 years experience) overseeing pods of offshore accountants. Quality control, training, escalation path.
  • Senior accountants and controllers. 5–15 years experience, often with Big 4 backgrounds or large-firm offshore delivery center experience. Handle complex engagements, oversee junior staff.
  • Accountants and bookkeepers. 2–8 years experience. Handle day-to-day production: bookkeeping, close, AP/AR, basic reporting.
  • Tax preparers. 2–12 years experience with US tax software and US tax returns. Seasonal and year-round.
  • Specialists. Industry specialists (construction, dealership, dental, nonprofit) and software specialists (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, specific tax software).
Credentials

Credentials across our team

Credentials commonly held across our offshore team:

  • CA (Chartered Accountant). Indian equivalent of CPA, rigorous 5-year program through the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Held by most senior accountants and all controllers/team leads on our India team.
  • Philippines CPA. Philippines Professional Regulation Commission license. Modeled on US CPA with similar rigor. Held by most senior accountants and team leads on our Philippines team.
  • US CPA. Some offshore accountants have also qualified as US CPAs, typically through state boards accepting international candidates.
  • CMA (Cost and Management Accountant). Indian management accounting credential. Common among controllers.
  • CFA. Chartered Financial Analyst. Less common in accounting roles; more common in our fractional CFO bench.
  • Enrolled Agent. IRS credential for tax representation. Some offshore tax preparers have qualified.
  • Software certifications. QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Certified Advisor, NetSuite certifications, Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist, various tax software certifications.

Backgrounds

Our senior offshore team typically includes alumni of:

  • Big 4 offshore delivery centers (Deloitte Assurance, PwC Acceleration Centers, EY Global Delivery Services, KPMG Global Services)
  • Large US firm offshore operations (BDO, Grant Thornton, RSM, Crowe offshore centers)
  • Fortune 500 corporate finance functions with shared services in India/Philippines
  • Boutique offshore accounting providers (including several from firms we compete with; talent moves in the industry)

This alumni mix brings US GAAP training, US tax exposure, and US business culture familiarity that self-trained generalists don't have.

Growth

How our team has grown and continues to grow

OffshoreAccounting.com is a brand of Accountably Inc, founded to address a specific gap: most offshore accounting providers either (1) chase the lowest price with poor quality control, or (2) bundle staffing with expensive services clients don't want (mandatory CPE, lock-in contracts, opaque pricing). Our model: dedicated senior staff, transparent pricing, no unnecessary bundling.

Team growth has been measured and deliberate. We prefer dedicated senior hires over high-volume junior hiring – the resulting team is smaller than some competitors but typically delivers higher quality engagements.

Specific team size and individual bios are not publicly listed for two reasons: (1) our staff roster changes as we scale (growing organizations shouldn't have outdated public org charts), and (2) individual team members prefer privacy over public exposure. On sales calls and during engagement, we're happy to discuss specific team members and arrange introductions with the accountants who would work on your engagement.
