What we hire for

Roles we hire

  • Senior bookkeeper. 3–7 years experience. Multi-entity, industry depth, close ownership. QBO/Xero/NetSuite proficiency.
  • Accountant. 3–8 years experience. Full-cycle accounting, month-end close ownership, ASC 606 or industry-specific GAAP knowledge.
  • Senior accountant. 7–12 years experience. Complex consolidation, technical accounting, team mentoring.
  • Controller. 10–18 years experience. Close ownership, audit management, staff supervision, process design.

What we look for

What we look for in candidates

Beyond the credential and experience requirements for specific roles:

  • Dedicated engagement orientation. Candidates who prefer working deeply with a few clients over handling dozens of shallow engagements. If you've worked in a pool-based offshore model and felt the quality suffer, you'll fit here.
  • Comfortable with direct communication. US work culture involves directness that doesn't always fit cultural norms in other countries. We actively support staff in developing communication styles that serve US client relationships.
  • Commitment to learning US accounting and tax. US GAAP differs meaningfully from IFRS. US tax differs meaningfully from Indian or Philippine tax. Candidates comfortable continuing to learn US-specific accounting and tax do well; candidates wanting to work from IFRS training alone struggle.
  • Quality over speed. We optimize for engagement quality over headcount scale. If you'd rather do a careful job than a fast-and-sloppy one, we're aligned.
  • Long-term orientation. We prefer multi-year engagements with our staff. Candidates looking for short-term roles or quick pivots aren't a great match.
What we offer

What we offer our team

Compensation

Competitive with or above market rates for equivalent offshore accounting roles. We don't compete at the bottom of the market on price; we pay for quality and expect quality in return. Specific ranges discussed during candidate conversations.

Work environment

  • Dedicated client engagement model (you work with the same clients long-term)
  • Clear scope and role definition (you know what your job is)
  • US supervisor/reviewer availability (you have someone to escalate to)
  • Professional development support (time and budget for continued learning)
  • Flexibility between remote work and office work where available

Career path

  • Junior bookkeeper → senior bookkeeper (3–5 years typical)
  • Senior bookkeeper → accountant (3–5 years)
  • Accountant → senior accountant (5–7 years)
  • Senior accountant → controller (5–8 years)
  • Controller → fractional CFO or team lead (5–10 years)

Time horizons are guidelines, not requirements. Strong performers advance faster. Transitions also happen across tracks (bookkeeping to tax to advisory) for team members who want to diversify their experience.
