White-label tax preparation services for US CPA and accounting firms

Send returns, payroll cycles or AP invoices when you need them. Each return is tied to its source documents before handoff, and the work goes out under your firm's name. Returns run $35 to $250 each.

Updated

With white-label tax preparation, your clients deal only with your staff, and every return reaches them from your firm.

Payroll cycles and AP invoices work the same way. We prepare returns and their workpapers in your tax software, so both stay in your firm's system. Our FAQ page explains what IRC §7216 means for offshore work.

How white-label tax preparation works

01

You pick the returns and send them

Send 1040s through 1120-Ss when you need them prepared. Your first batch is the 2-week pilot, and we agree its scope with you on a call before it starts.

02

We prepare and check each return

Before handoff, we tie each return to its source documents, check it against last year's return and flag open items at the top. Our US-based manager reviews the work, then your reviewer does.

03

Your firm signs and files every return

Signing waits for your reviewer's final review. We never sign tax returns, and we are not preparer of record on any return we prepare for you.

When on-demand work is the right model

On-demand work suits volume that jumps in busy season or arrives in batches, such as 1065s due March 15 or the 1040s that pile up before April 15. Each return, payroll cycle or AP invoice is billed on its own. For work that holds steady all year, the other model is a dedicated accountant. Both models are on the pricing page.

Questions about white‑label tax preparation

What are white-label tax preparation services?

Tax returns prepared by an outside team and delivered by your firm as its own work. We prepare 1040s through 1120-Ss in your tax software and tie each one to its source documents before handoff. Your licensed professionals review, sign and file every return.

Will our clients know we outsourced the work?

Not from us. We don't email or call your clients, and nothing we prepare goes out under our name. Questions about missing documents go to your staff, who decide what to ask the client.

How fast is white-label work turned around?

On one 600-return engagement, the white-label team delivered inside agreed turnaround windows, and every return went out on time. On the pilot call we ask about your volume and the work you'd hand off first, and we agree the pilot's scope with you before it starts.

Do your white-label accounting services cover payroll and AP?

Yes. Payroll is priced per cycle and AP per invoice, and both are prepared in the systems your clients already use, such as Gusto or BILL. They get the same review as returns, first by our US-based manager and then by your team.

When should we move to a dedicated accountant?

When the work stops arriving in batches and holds steady through the year. A dedicated accountant works only on your firm for $1,800 to $6,500 a month, learns your clients and stays on your files. Setup takes three weeks from the first call.
